History
A-Line Machine
Tool Company was originally a branch of Anderson Machine Tool Company of
St. Paul, MN. In 1976, Tom Austin took over management of the La Crosse
branch and later purchased it in 1983, with a name change to A-Line Machine Tool
Company. We have been in La Crosse since the early 1960's and have had two
previous locations, 201 Front Street and 415 La Crosse Street, before
moving to our present location of 800 Monitor Street, July 1, 1988.
We
specialize in quality metalworking industrial tools and tooling for
customers such as large and small manufacturers, tool & die shops,
foundries and also retail sales for home shop needs.
Also, we
continually are expanding our woodworking product lines to offer you the
best in tools and accessories. With woodworking being the number one
hobby in America, we have seen a big increase in this area and it is our
goal to be your number one source for all of you woodworking needs. We
offer free fall and winter educational seminars on woodworking tools,
accessories and techniques. Each November we have an annual show and sale
with woodworking demonstrations by local craftsmen. |
